Several legacy Synergy hardware platforms will shortly reach their End of Life (EOL) date.
After this date, affected products will no longer receive Synergy software updates, fixes, feature enhancements, or Microsoft Windows security updates.
⚠️ Continuing to operate unsupported systems may increase cyber security risk and make compliance requirements harder to meet.
If you are using affected Synergy hardware products, it is important to take the following steps:
- Where an upgrade path exists - contact your Synectics representative to plan an upgrade to the newer supported operating system, which will extend the product support life
- Where no upgrade path exists - contact your Synectics representative, who can advise on replacement options to help maintain a secure and supported Synergy environment

Why are these products reaching End of Life?
- The embedded operating system is no longer supported by Microsoft, and can no longer receive security updates
- The hardware platform no longer meets the performance requirements needed to support future Synergy software releases
